A poem I wrote and gave to my son before he left for college.

The man will become

You will become a man of
great honor who will be loved
and admired by many and one
that loves and admires, a man
who will humble himself before
the Lord and others. A man
who will have others best
interest at heart, someone who
will bless others because of the
blessings the Lord has
bestowed on you. You will be
a man who will make his mark
on the world, a man whom
people will remember but most
important a family member
that will be remembered for
generations to come. You will
be a man that loves the Lord
and will be blessed beyond compare.

  Here is a post that I am sure will touch you as it did me.   It is a day I had with mother about a month just before her passing on August 15, 2012.   I found this day to start off as any other day with our typical going over and the preparing of papers, making sure everything was in order at the time of my mother's death.  This was something I never looked forwarded to but knew how important it was to her because she wanted to make it as easy as possible on all of her children.  It was just another way she could expressed  her love for us all.  But even with all the busyness I could sense there was something still troubling my mother.  As we began to talk I started to see a side of her I had never seen before.  A side in some ways took me by surprise but in others not so much.  You see my mom had always been known as strong female or a strong welled woman to sa...

Why "living Outside the Grey"

Why this title “Living Outside the Grey”. As my heart longs to live as Christ, I sometimes find myself being morphed into the world’s image. As I become accustomed to its morals and standards this somehow causes the line of Truth to be pushed back; thus causing the grey matter to appear. In order for me to live unto Him I have to break away from the requirements of society and cling to the Truth of the Master. I am sure this stance will not come without cost but in order for me to grow into the likes of Him it is vital for me to press onward so others can see it is possible to live solely on God’s principals, no matter the social order.
